hand in hand we walked along
A path of love that seemed so strong
Just you and me - that’s how its supposed to be
Without warning you just took away
our love our life and went on your way
when you left you took a piece of me
Although you’re gone my love still grows
My heart and I just can’t let it go
We’re holding on, holding on to all our dreams
A broken heart and a shattered soul
Left me stranded on this lonely road
I’m searching for the love you took away
A lesson learned the hard way
I’ll get over you someday
I have no choice that’s how it’s supposed to be
