Hand in hand we used to walk along
A path of love that always seemed so strong
I was your man you were my girl
Just you and me against the world

Without warning you just took away
Our love our life and went on your way
When you left you took a piece of me

A broken heart and a shattered soul
Left me stranded on this lonely road
I’m searching for the love you took away

A lesson learned the hardest way
I struggle just to get through the day
Because of you I just stare into space
Without your lone I’ll never be the same

Although you’re gone my love still grows
My heart and I just can’t let it go
We’re holding on, holding on to all of our dreams
